The OnePlus 10 Pro spectacularly fails a bend test by YouTuber Zack Nelson from the popular JerryRigEverything channel. The OnePlus flagship launched in China in January 2022 but is yet to make its debut in global markets. There have been several rumors and reports of a possible March launch in other countries, but nothing has been officially confirmed so far. It's unclear why OnePlus hasn't launched the phone worldwide, especially since it's among the handful of flagships to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. There isn't a known reason for the phone's limited release, but it could be due to the global semiconductor shortage.
Unfortunately for OnePlus, its first flagship of 2022 has already received a bad rap ahead of a global release. The JerryRigEverything YouTube channel has over 7.2 million subscribers and is famous for the durability tests Nelson conducts on smartphones, involving everything from sharp blades to fire. Earlier this year, he tested OPPO's Find N foldable phone, which held up surprisingly well to dust and force. The phone didn't crack, even when Nelson tried to bend it backward when unfolded.

Unfortunately, the OnePlus 10 Pro didn't perform so well in Nelson's durability test. In the video, which is embedded from the JerryRigEverything channel below, the phone showed visible cracks on the back panel when the YouTuber tried to bend the phone the first time. The cracks were concentrated in a straight line just below the stovetop camera module, although the display continued to work despite the noticeable damage.
