Footage of a newly remade cutscene from The Last of Us Part 1 has leaked online. Announced at the 2022 Summer Games Fest, The Last of Us Part 1 is a full remake of Naughty Dog’s critically acclaimed action survival title, featuring fully reconstructed visuals and several new gameplay modes. Recently, a newLast of Us Part 1 gameplay video gave more insight into what players can expect to see.

Leaks have become somewhat of an unfortunate running theme for Naughty Dog as of late, and one the developer has been none too keen on. The most egregious of these came shortly before the release of The Last of Us Part 2 when the whole of the game’s plot was leaked online by an anonymous source. The disclosure of Part 2’s controversial story, combined with allegations of a poor work environment at Naughty Dog, divided the fanbase even before the PlayStation exclusive could hit store shelves. Naughty Dog would suffer another poorly timed leak for its next project when a product listing on PlayStation Direct leaked the Last of Us remake moments before its official premiere at the 2022 Summer Games Fest.

Video Games Chronicle recently revealed Naughty Dog and The Last of Us have, once again, been the victim of an info leak. VGC has reported that an anonymous source posted graphically remade footage of one of Last of Us Part 1’s more tragically intense cutscenes via Imgur. The brief video displays the untimely deaths of Sam and Henry, two iconic characters who briefly accompany the main protagonists, Joel and Ellie, on their journey.
