The news wasn't particularly surprising considering several bits of Dragon Ball data had been datamined over the past few months, but it was news that apparently a lot of people were excited to see.

So many were excited to see it, in fact, that it's now Fortnite's most-liked tweet of all time, just 13 hours after it was posted. As pointed out by reputable Fortnite leaker ShiinaBR, the tweet announcing the crossover between Dragon Ball and Fortnite sits at around 278.8k likes as of the time of writing, making it the most popular on the account.
ShiinaBR pointed out how much of a feat this was, saying, "This Dragon Ball tweet is now Fortnite's most liked tweet EVER. And it took only 13 hours for this to happen! (To put it in perspective, for the same milestone the Naruto announcement tweet needed about 1-2 days)". As referenced by ShiinaBR, the Naruto tease was previously Fortnite's most liked tweet, now sitting at 250.7k likes as of the time of writing.
