Octopath Traveler 2 is coming to Xbox consoles and Windows PC.
An “early 2024” release window for the Square Enix RPG was announced during Xbox’s Tokyo Game Show broadcast on Thursday.

The original Octopath Traveler was released in 2018 and has sold over three million copies across Nintendo Switch, PC, Xbox One and Stadia, according to Square Enix.
The Japanese publisher released Octopath Traveler 2 in February 2023 for Switch, PS4, PS5, and PC via Steam.
According to Square Enix, the sequel “takes the series’ HD-2D graphics, a fusion of retro pixel art and 3DCG, to even greater heights”.
It says: “In the world of Solistia, eight new travelers venture forth into an exciting new era. Where will you go? What will you do? Whose tale will you bring to life? Every path is yours to take. Embark on an adventure all your own.”
