Obi-Wan Kenobiactress Moses Ingram describes her new Star Wars villain, the Sith Inquisitor Reva, in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. Originally imagined as a movie, a project focusing on Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi has been in development since 2017. Following the lackluster performance of Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018), Disney/Lucasfilm shifted its focus to Disney+’s The Mandalorian and now, director Deborah Chow’s Obi-Wan Kenobi. The limited series stars Ewan McGregor as Obi-Wan, Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader, Joel Edgerton as Owen Lars, Bonnie Piesse as Beru, Moses Ingram, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell, Benny Safdie, Maya Erskine, and Rory Ross.
Taking place ten years after the events of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith (2005), Obi-Wan Kenobi follows its titular character’s time in exile as “Ben” on Tatooine. There, he watches over Luke while evading the threat of the Galactic Empire, which is looking for Force users. Vader has dispatched the Grand Inquisitor and his band of Inquisitors to exterminate any Jedi who managed to survive the great purge that was Order 66. One of these Inquisitors is Ingram's Reva.
