Warning: Spoilers for Obi-Wan Kenobi episode 6.
The Obi-Wan Kenobi series finale returns to Tatooine, where Reva’s attack on the Lars homestead includes crucial moments that make Owen and Beru’s death more tragic than before. To keep Luke safe from Darth Vader and the Galactic Empire, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Yoda, and Bail Organa devised a plan to hide Anakin Skywalker’s children, with Luke being sent to Tatooine to live as a farmer with the closest thing Anakin has to relatives. Their deaths leave Luke heartbroken, but he doesn’t dwell on the loss for long, quickly leaving Tatooine with Ben Kenobi and joining the Rebellion as he’d wanted to for years.
