The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 Founders Edition (FE) graphics cards are suddenly unavailable for sale on the official NVIDIA web store. Currently, the only way to acquire those cards is through third-party sellers not connected with the company, reports Cowcotland. The GPUs appear missing from American and French NVIDIA websites, which may signal that the company has removed the cards from current sales.
The sudden disappearance of NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 30 Founders Edition graphics card might be due to the FE stock being dried up and NVIDIA wants to focus on AIB models more since there are still plenty of those sitting on retail shelves.
In addition to the Founders Edition graphics cards, some RTX 3080 graphics cards and some mid-level GPUs are also missing from listings, but this does not mean that the company has removed any trace from partnered retailers. Best Buy is reported to still sell NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti in Founders Edition flavors and RTX 3070 Ti Founders Edition graphics cards are available too, but to purchase them, you have to go to one of the retailer's physical locations to buy.
With the costs of the newer generation graphics cards dropping over the last several months, this could be the beginning of NVIDIA silently replacing the older cards with newer variants. We know that the company is working to introduce more mainstream models such as the RTX 4070 and RTX 4060 series in the coming months which should effectively replace the RTX 3070 and 3060 series of cards.
The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 will still be available in several SKUs and flavors for some time as there is still plenty of stock left to be cleared out but as far as Founders Edition variants go, those might come to an end soon. With that said, all of
