The latest Nope trailer reveals the plot of Jordan Peele's new horror movie. Starring Daniel Kaluuya, Keke Palmer, and Steven Yeun, thefirst Nope trailer did little in the way of revealing the plot of the upcoming movie. This was no surprise — the first trailers for Peele's first two movies, Get Out and Us, remained mysterious in nature until the movie's respective releases. Get Out went on to win Peele an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay and was praised for its examination of racial politics in the Obama era. Similarly, Us was praised for its mystery box plot and the performances of its leads, Lupita Nyong'o and Winston Duke.
Anticipation was already high for Peele's follow-up but after the debut of the first Nope trailer, it skyrocketed. The clip was light on plot, introducing Kaluuya and Palmer's respective characters before a montage of images teased a terrifying movie set on a ranch. Finally, a second Nope trailer revealed what everyone had suspected — that the movie was about some sort of alien invasion. Now, the final Nope trailer has unveiled the full plot of the upcoming movie.
