New motion character posters have arrived for Jordan Peele’s Nope movie. After brilliantly dismantling and reworking horror conventions with Get Out and Us, Peele returns with his third feature Nope. The film stars former Get Out actor Daniel Kaluuya along with Keke Palmer and Minari’s Steven Yeun as residents of an inland California ranch town who witness an unusual and terrifying discovery.
Now, NBC Universalreleases brand new motion character posters for Nope…and they’re just as unsettling as one might imagine. The five nearly-identical posters feature Kaluuya, Palmer, Yeun, and co-stars Brandon Perea and Michael Wincott. The quintet of characters look upon the sky as sound suggests some looming threat bearing down on them. They close their eyes, and brace for impact.

While the posters give a further look at these five characters in costume, they provide no more specifics as to what threats lie ahead within Nope. The most recent Nope trailer gave a better look at the alien UFO terrorizing the town of Nope, which may be what these actors gaze upon in the new posters. However, the specifics of the alien terror in Nope still remain unknown despite the trailers that have been released. There is an enticing mystery in this vagueness, which will compel audiences to theaters when Nope releases this summer.
