No Man’s Sky sets off for Nintendo Switch in October

Hello Games has locked in a launch date for the Nintendo Switch version of No Man’s Sky. The studio is partnering with Bandai Namco Entertainment to bring No Man’s Sky to Switch on Oct.

7, 2022. This version of Hello Games’ space exploration sim will be available both physically and on the Nintendo eShop. Those picking the game up will get all updates that have been added to the game so far (and there have been a lot), plus all future updates.

While it’s a bit later than originally intended for the Switch version of No Man’s Sky, it’s still wild to see this game make its way to the handheld hybrid console at all.

Since it first launched, No Man’s Sky has been a wild game to follow. Its initial offering seemed to fall short of the expectations many had for it.
