Fans of No Man’s Sky can finally enjoy one of the most-requested features to the space sandbox game—a ship editor.
Orbital, the 27th major update to the game, arrives today and brings with it a slew of improvements and additions to Hello Game’s seemingly neverending underdog success story. A trailer has also been released to boost the hype.
First on the docket is a massive space station overhaul, making these locations more diverse and exciting through the use of procedural generation. These will also house the new Guild system, which will see envoys posted at each station to help players advance in standing with the Merchants, Explorers, and Mercenaries Guilds by donating surplus materials.
No Man’s Sky will see visual improvements and optimizations to screen space reflection rendering in this update, along with changes to the UI. Notes on Fleet Missions and Starship Customization can be seen below, with the full patch notes here.
