There was plenty of back and forth online that suggested whether Nintendo would be holding a Direct this month or not. But now we have the official word from Nintendo that Nintendo Direct is coming, and it will arrive as early as tomorrow. So those of you who might have been worried that Nintendo would be skipping out on their own presentation showcase for the month of June can rest easy.
However, the big question on everyone’s mind will be what Nintendo showcases. There’s not much confirmed to be in the works for Nintendo Switch in terms of first-party releases. We know that Pikmin 4 is coming, and that’s already confirmed to be showcased during tomorrow’s event. However, the only statement provided by Nintendo is that this showcase will be around forty minutes long, and it will mainly focus on the Nintendo Switch titles launching this year. What those games will be remains a mystery, although it could be more focused on third-party titles coming to the platform.

For instance, a game that is slated to still launch on Nintendo Switch this year is Hogwarts Legacy. That particular title has already been released on rival console platforms along with the PC. But the Nintendo Switch platform release has continued to get pushed back further into the end of this year. Perhaps we’ll see some gameplay footage to showcase the game running on Nintendo Switch hardware.
