Nintendo and Generation Esports have officially confirmed their partnership for the Middle School Esports League Spring Major Event. The collaboration will bring several Nintendo games to the prestigious esports event.
Generation Esports is a leading esports organization that is dedicated to empowering the next generation of gamers. The company was established in 2012 with the goal of giving students the chance to compete in esports events, gain useful skills, and create a community around their passion for gaming. Since its inception, the organization has managed to gain more than 200,000 registered users and over 5,000 partner schools. Generation Esports aims to provide a secure, welcoming, and informative environment for young people to explore their interests in gaming in light of the growth of esports and the popularity of gaming as a form of entertainment. As part of Nintendo and Generation Esports' new partnership which was announced on Twitter, three of the best Nintendo Switch games will officially join the competitive Middle School Esports League. Super Smash Bros Ultimate, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and Splatoon 3 will be the latest games added to the league. Students from all over the nation will have the opportunity to showcase their abilities in league-style competition with the debut of the free-to-compete league. This year’s Middle School Esports League event will begin on February 27th.
