While Hogwarts Legacy is a solid open-world game, there are a few things the game developed by Avalanche Software could have done better, especially regarding the role-playing game mechanics, which are somewhat light compared to other similar games. Among the RPG staple features missing from the game is a companion system, but PC players now have the option to add a similar system to the game with a newly released mod.

Another mod from the same creator also gives them the ability to use Unforgivable Curses.
