Hogwarts Legacy, the open-world game developed by Avalanche Software set in the Wizarding World now out on PC and current-generation consoles, doesn't allow players to edit their character's appearance once it is finalized in the character creator, but now PC players have the option to make edits on the fly thanks to a new mod.
The Character Editor mod, which can be downloaded from Nexus Mods, is a very simple mod that lets players open up a menu in-game at any time and access all the character editing options available in the character creator, such as House, gender, voice, head, hair style and more. The mod only works with Blueprint Apparate Modloader, which can also be downloaded from Nexus Mods.
The Hogwarts Legacy Character Editor mod is just the latest of the many mods released so far for Avalanche Software's open-world game. Among them are mods that unlock further customization options, improve visuals and performance, add new spells, and tweak students' and professors' behavior for a more immersive experience.
Even without mods, Hogwarts Legacy is a more than worthy purchase for any fan of the Wizarding World, and open-world games in general, thanks to a well-realized world, entertaining story and engaging combat, as highlighted by Chris in his review.
Hogwarts Legacy is now available on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S worldwide. The game was scheduled to release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One next month but was delayed to May 5th as the developer needed additional time to polish the experience. The Nintendo Switch did not suffer any delay and will release on July 25th as scheduled.
