You might be wondering what’s going on with the Destiny 2 server status, in turn asking ‘are the Destiny servers down?’ If so don’t worry, as we’ve put together everything we know about the multiplayer game‘s downtime for you right here.
Don’t worry too much about this Destiny 2 server status, as everything is running smoothly ahead of the Destiny 2 Lightfall expansion. There will, however, be some downtime around the launch of the FPS game‘s latest instalment, so here’s everything we know.
“To prepare for the launch of Lightfall, Destiny 2 is scheduled for 24-hour downtime. Destiny 2 will be brought offline at 9 AM PST (-8 UTC), February 27, at which time:
“Players will be able to log back in once downtime concludes at 9 AM PST (-8 UTC), February 28.”
Depending on your timezone this Destiny 2 server downtime will be different, so we’ve broken down what you can expect depending on where you live:
Bungie Rewards should also be claimed ahead of downtime, as the studio says “during the 24-hour downtime leading up to Lightfall’s launch, players will be unable to claim and purchase Bungie Rewards. All expiring Season 19 and The Witch Queen Bungie Rewards must be earned and claimed by the beginning of downtime.”
You can see the timeline of updates on the Bungie forums, with updates also rolling out to the Bungie Help Twitter account.
