A few days prior to the ban, Adin Ross revealed during a Twitch live stream that he had received a threatening phone call from a senior Twitch executive. The executive had warned him of an indefinite suspension if he did not make significant changes to his content. As a result of this incident, Adin Ross announced that he was joining Kick.com, a newly launched streaming platform that boasts of offering more lenient terms of service than Twitch and better monetary benefits. Adin further added that he was not intimidated and would continue to do things his way on Twitch.
