Without a doubt, many are still reeling from the delays of Redfall and Starfield, but it’s also important to remember that it’s not all bad news. Microsoft and Bethesda have both heavily hinted that Starfield, if not both games, will be at the upcoming Xbox and Bethesda Games showcase. With gameplay of Starfield likely to be there, fans will at least see the game this year. That’s more than a normal Bethesda game release at this point, and that’s more than fans have had for this entire hype train.
Of course, there will be more than Starfield at the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase, and hopefully, Microsoft will be able to recover from this setback. In the meantime, Starfield hasn’t been the leakiest ship out there, but there have been quite a few leaks in general. Now, a new image gives fans another look at the game.
How the Starfield Delay Compares to Past Bethesda Games
Not too long ago, five images leaked online claiming to show a 2018 build of Starfield. Everyone knows how much a game can change in development though, so those images may be a decent baseline, but there weren’t current and certainly won’t be at release. This image, while unknown, is simple enough that fans can expect to see it in the game, although it is just a door.
As seen above, it seems an image of a Starfield door has leaked online. There’s no real context provided for the leak, nor any real information on the leaker, so fans should take this one with a grain of salt. That said, if someone is going to post fake leaks online, they would likely do something a little more exciting than a door.
