We have found out two new pieces of information about the iPhone 14 series this week. The first and probably the most important one comes from the Korean news website ET News which reported that Apple might be ditching its Chinese supplier for front-cameras and could instead be switching to LG Innotek. According to the report, this will also increase the cost of the camera itself by three times, something which will likely be passed onto the end customer.
The second information comes from Ross Young, CEO of Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC) as well as an Apple insider. He stated in a tweet that he was expecting iPhone 14 to upgrade its variable refresh rate from 10-120Hz to 1-120Hz. This can also play a role in the final iPhone 14 price on launch.
