New Morbius Movie Runtime Even Shorter Than Original Reports
New theater listings for Morbius points towards the upcoming superhero movie being even shorter than original reports, though not by much. The film marks the third installment in Sony's Spider-Man Universe, having originally been slated for the second chapter before being delayed to make way for the release of Venom: Let There Be Carnage. Morbius marks the official live-action debut of the Living Vampire after he was previously teased in a deleted scene for the Wesley Snipes-led Blade.
Jared Leto stars in the film as Michael Morbius, a scientist suffering from a rare blood disorder that is rapidly killing him. In an effort to cure the disease, Morbius afflicts himself with a form of transgenic vampirism, granting him all of the superhuman abilities associated with vampires without any of their superstitious weaknesses, save for a thirst for blood. Alongside Leto, the cast for Morbius includes Matt Smith, Adria Arjona, Jared Harris, Al Madrigal, Tyrese Gibson and Michael Keaton.

With less than a month remaining until the film's release, new theatrical listings for Morbius have seemingly revealed a new runtime. Whereas previous reports had the film running at 108 minutes, AMC Theaters and Regal Cinemas' pages for the new film have the film running even short at 105 minutes long. Though not much shorter than previous reports, these new listings place Morbius' runtime even closer to Venom: Let There Be Carnage's 97-minute runtime.
It is interesting to note that while AMC and Regal have the new Morbius runtime listed as shorter than original reports, Cinemark still has the film labeled as running for 108 minutes. Though the new runtime isn't much of a difference from
