Morbius is the latest film that is set in Sony’s Spider-Man Universe, but does it have a post-credits scene? Filmed in 2019, Morbius has been delayed several times over the last two years, primarily due to the ongoing pandemic. Now that it’s in theaters, Michael Morbius gets to let his fangs out.
Starting with Venom in 2018, Sony began setting the stage for its Spider-Man Universe, with the web-slinging hero being the common denominator between Venom, Morbius, and the rest of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Morbius takes things a step further in that regard, but only slightly. The film follows Dr. Michael Morbius (Jared Leto), a scientist who has a rare and seemingly incurable blood disease. He dedicates his life to finding a cure, which involves a serum that ultimately turns him into a living vampire, giving him superhuman abilities, including some vampire bat traits. Morbius struggles with the after-effects of taking the serum, not realizing that its creation will pit him against someone he cares about.

With Morbius finally releasing in theaters worldwide, audiences may be wondering whether or not the film has a post-credits scene like its superhero predecessors. The answer is yes, Morbius DOES have — not one, but two — post-credits scenes, both of which come at the mid-credits point of the film. Morbius doesn’t include a scene at the very end of the credits, so viewers don’t have to wait until the credits finish rolling to find out what else is in store for the titular character (though staying until the end is always encouraged).
