Morbius director Daniel Espinosa has recently praised Jared Leto's method acting approach that he utilized for his role in the upcoming Marvel film. Sony has faced many trials and tribulations when it comes to the release of Morbius,which has experienced a set of delays in the past years, mostly due to the Coronavirus.
However, Morbius finally made its long-anticipated debut in theaters this weekend, introducing audiences to Leto's vampire anti-hero. The movie also stars Matt Smith, Adria Arjona, Tyrese Gibson and Jared Harris. However, fans may be most excited and surprised to see Michael Keaton reprising his role in the film as Spider-Man: Homecoming iconic villain, Adrian Toomes, otherwise known as the Vulture. Leto's character of Michael Morbius is actually technically half mortal, half vampire. He begins to conduct a series of experiments in order to cure his rare blood disease, but ends up accidentally possessing some weird form of vampirism along the way. Although Morbius has been portrayed and pronounced a villain in the Spider-Man comics, it looks as though the film is taking on a different approach to the character. Morbius is set to interrogate the complexities and duality of good and evil traits that reside in everyone, giving him the chance to grow, allowing for him to make a full transformation throughout the duration of the film. However, don’t get it twisted, Morbius is without a doubt, still quite wicked at heart.

This is why director Espinosa has recently indicated that Sony eventually wants to make a Sinister Six film, featuring Morbius alongside the Vulture. Leto could possibly be playing the character of Morbius
