Following the trailer's leak, Cawthon officially announced Five Nights at Freddy's: Into the Pit, which is a pixel-art side scroller set in Jeff's Pizza. The game's plot appears to be based on a Fazbear Frights story and stars Oswald as the protagonist. Cawthon explained that the game has been in development for a long time and will celebrate the franchise's 10th anniversary, which occurs in August. A release date is not yet confirmed, but it seems likely that it will be released sometime around that date.
