FromSoftware has released various updates for Elden Ring since its launch in February. The massive patch 1.03 implemented several balance-related changes to the game, and it also made questing more convenient by adding vendor and character markers to the map. It even added a new NPC to Elden Ring, along with more steps to the quests of existing ones.
Update 1.03 also made adjustments to some of the enemies, most notably Starscourge Radahn. The boss fight against Radahn has a gimmick, as he is balanced around summoning NPCs. Starscourge Radahn was generally considered to be one of the most challenging bosses in the middle portion of Elden Ring, but many players found him to be nerfed after this update. Players discovered that he did less damage than before and was more likely to target the NPCs in the area. Disappointed by these changes, some Elden Ring fans wanted FromSoftware to reverse them, and it looks like their wish has been granted.

It looks like Radahn was unintentionally nerfed, and players can now challenge him without facing the watered-down version. Patch 1.03 added more bugs to Elden Ring that were subsequently fixed in a later update.
Most of the community is probably pleased to hear this news, but Radahn is not an easy fight by any means, especially for newcomers to this genre. It’s not required to defeat Starscourge Radahn
