The sixth season of NBA 2K22 has finally arrived, and with it comes a new series of in-game content for players to collect or earn through various missions. 2K Games brings Season 6: Zero Gravity to players with a myriad of things to work towards, such as new Dark Matter Rewards, Playoff Moment Agendas, and an Invincible Dirk Nowitzki.
Not lost in the shuffle is the announcement of a Dark Matter Josh Giddey, the 19-year-old rookie from the Oklahoma City Thunder. He'll be in good company, as NBA 2K22 revealed three more Dark Matter units, set for release on April 8, and they're all significant additions to any team's roster.

Zach Lavine, Blake Griffin, and Paul George will all have new Dark Matter units to collect in Season 6: Zero Gravity and are the first three units revealed outside the initial announcement of the new season. It marks the second time in not too long that Griffin receives a prestigious Dark Matter variant, leaving many players who own the previous version wondering which of the two will be more dominant to use. Lavine's image art is interesting, as he noticeably wears a Minnesota Timberwolves jersey despite spending the last three seasons as a member of the Chicago Bulls, though the announcement does indicate his success as a two-time Slam Dunk Champion, which he did as a member of the Timberwolves.
George's inclusion as a member of the Indiana Pacers is also a hot topic of discussion, as the 31-year-old is a member of the Los Angeles Clippers.
