Hulu's line-up will be changing next month. Season 17 of So You Think You Can Dance will be available on the streaming service on May 19. Since the pandemic, SYTYCD faced an uncertain future--it was off the air for two seasons, and at the last minute in June 2021, Season 17 as originally intended last year until a last minute slam on the brakes. This season should be pretty different, as co-creator Nigel Lythgoe--who has been a judge on the series since 2005--will not be returning. For the judging panel, that means this time will be Stephen «tWitch» Boss, dance and artist Matthew Morrison, and singer/«digital sensation» JoJo Siwa.
Then, for something pretty different but related, on May 20 Hulu will be getting American Underdog: The Kurt Warner Story. The film «tells the true story of Kurt Warner (Zachary Levi), who went from a stock boy at a grocery store to a two-time NFL MVP, Super Bowl champion, and Hall of Fame quarterback.» Even if you're not a big Los Angeles Rams fan, or a big sports fan in general, the movie's been getting pretty positive reception for being a solid, straight-ahead, heartwarming and inspirational sports movie in the tradition of Hoosiers.
Meanwhile, anime fans can look forward to the complete dubbed fifth season of My Hero Academia arriving on the platform at the end of the month.
