The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has many amazing monsters for Geralt to hunt, but some should stay in the third game and never return. With the sheer amount of different monsters, some would inevitably rub players the wrong way. From Arachas to Sirens, the world of The Witcher has some truly disturbing, and annoying, monsters.
During the search for his adopted daughter Ciri, eponymous witcher Geralt of Rivia can undertake many monster-hunting contracts for both story and profit. These contracts represent some of the best story elements and involve can't-miss Witcher 3 story side quests. While many unique monsters can only be encountered through these contracts, most monsters are encountered in the open world, posing as obstacles for Geralt to overcome in his quest.

Many of these monsters have been present in previous Witcher games, so it stands to reason that Witcher 4 would feature some returning monsters from Witcher 3. However, not all of these monsters would necessarily be welcome additions, no matter how fearsome. These are some of the worst monsters that players can fight in Witcher 3 that probably shouldn't return for a sequel.
Arachnomorphs appear as cunning enemies in the Blood and Wine and Hearts of Stone expansions. Players that fight these creatures will note them for how difficult they are. Arachnomorphs attack in packs and fire webbing at Geralt from a distance, freezing him in his tracks before attacking as one. Their fast methods of attacking can kill even a veteran player and must always be handled with caution.
