The developers of Dream Daddy: A Dad Dating Sim surprised their fans with the unveiling of their next title, Homebody, an unsettling psychological horror game filled with puzzles and mystery. This will be the third game the team behind Game Grumps has worked on following Dream Daddy and the free-to-play battle royale platformer Soviet Jump Game. Both projects have since attracted thousands of players.
First released in 2017,Dream Daddy: A Dad Dating Simulator sees players making choices using humorous and clever dialogue in order to romance a variety of dateable dads. The unique and hilarious premise attracted a lot of players, and the game has gone on to form a cult following of fans. Unlike the plethora of other popular dating sims, Dream Daddy: A Dad Dating Simulator delighted and surprised players with its wholesomeness and terribly great dad jokes, set against the meme-worthy premise.

A new game developed by Game Grumps called Homebody has been revealed, and it looks to be an incredibly intense and trippy puzzle-solving horror game quite different to Dream Daddy. The game's director, Jory Griffis, made the announcement on G4's X-play yesterday with Homebody's unsettling but intriguing first trailer appearing on the Rogue Games YouTube channel. Players will take control of the game's mysterious main character Emily, who is trapped in a house with a relentless killer. While other horror games often feature players battling terrifying monsters, players will not be using combat to survive.
