NASCAR Arcade Rush Brings Over-the-Top Motorsport to PS5, PS4 | Push Square
If you like your console racers to be a little less realistic and a lot over-the-top, then NASCAR Arcade Rush may be up your alley. Announced earlier this week for PS5 and PS4, the “high-octane” release promises to “wildly reimagine” iconic NASCAR circuits, with “jaw-dropping twists, hair-raising turns, gravity-defying jumps, nitro boosts, and other surprises”. There’ll be a single player campaign, along with local and online play.
The press release reveals: “Experience iconic NASCAR tracks like Talladega Superspeedway, Daytona International Speedway, Darlington Raceway, Martinsville Speedway, Homestead-Miami Speedway, and more in all-new ways that will thrill your imagination and deliver a new level of playability within the vaunted NASCAR video game franchise.”
There’s no release date attached to the game, but it will cost just $49.99, so is being pitched as more of a budget title. A more expensive option will also be available for $59.99 with a hovercraft car model included. According to Gematsu, it’s being developed by Team6 Studios who’s worked on a number of lower-profile racing games over the years, including Street Outlaws.
