So… «Indy V» is miles better than «Crystal Skull». Wonderful performance from Ford. At least 20 minutes too long.
@LN78 Glad to hear it! I find that most «blockbusters» these days could stand some extra trim to their length. Seems like most filmmakers are allowed to indulge in their cuts and quite often the movie suffers a little bit for it (of course, some movies simply become overlong and boring if they overstay their welcome, but that doesn't sound like the case here, thankfully)
@FuriousMachine I'm fairly happy with it. A few extraneous scenes (and characters, truth be told) but crucially the tone is mostly spot on and the performances are great across the board. I'm not sure how the ending has settled with me yet, though. It's pretty mental.

@FuriousMachine Let me know what you think. I reckon it's probably a 5 or 6 out of 10. Something like that. Still really uncertain about that ending!!
Across the Spider-Verse was a terrific experience. Possibly one of the most dazzlingly animated films I've ever seen.
It was a little too lengthy for my liking (why does every superhero epic need to be 2.5 hours now?!), but, even so, there were few points in the film where I felt like I could tear my eyes away from the screen.
