The first My Policeman trailer has been released. Based on the novel of the same name by Bethan Roberts, My Policeman stars Harry Styles in his first major starring film role. The former One Directioner has a slim two credits on his resumé so far — a minor role in Christopher Nolan's war epic Dunkirk and a brief cameo in last year's Marvel Cinematic Universe entry Eternals. Styles is set to star opposite Emma Corrin, the actress who earned acclaim for her role as Princess Diana in The Crown season 4. The Last Kingdom's David Dawson also stars.
My Policeman is set in 1950s Brighton, a seaside city in England. Styles plays the titular policeman Tom and is married to Corrin's Marion, a schoolteacher. Unbeknownst to her, Tom has carried on an affair with Dawson's Patrick, a museum curator. Of course, their secret affair not only threatens Tom's marriage to Marion but their reputations and much more. The first images released from My Policeman showed the tense dynamic between the trio but gave little away in terms of just what's in store for the upcoming period piece.

Now, Prime Video has released the first My Policeman trailer. The brief clip shows Tom and Marion's marriage which, while happy, is complicated by the presence of Patrick. The trio seems to be good friends, but that friendship seems to lead to a much deeper rift for the group as Tom and Patrick have a hard time fighting their feelings for each other.
