Toho International has unveiled the poster for the North American release of, an upcoming English dub version of the fourth movie in the anime series.
Set to hit North American theaters on October 11, Toho International has also shared the details for the upcoming anime film’s new and returning characters. You can check out the newly released poster down below (featuring fan-favorites Izuku “Deku” Midoriya, Shoto Todoroki, and Katsuki Bakugo, as well as the movie’s villain), designed by Bones Inc., animator Yoshihiko Umakoshi.
Christopher Sabat returns as Dark Might, a villain “presenting himself as the one to replace All Might and become the new Symbol.” The new characters, Giulio Gandini and Anna Scervino, are voiced by Mauricio Ortiz-Segura and Kayli Mills, respectively.
Giulio Gandini, the Scervino family butler, is described as “calm and collected,” though he is also “mysterious with a rare violent side.” Meanwhile, Anna Scervino is “the daughter of the wealthy Scervino family,” who is being pursued by Giulio. However, Giulio is also “trying to kill her.”
The rest of the returning voice cast members include Justin Briner as Izuku Midoriya, Clifford Chapin as Katsuki Bakugo, David Matranga as Shoto Todoroki, Luci Christian as Ochaco Uraraka, and more.
“It was spring of Deku’s second year at U.A. when an all-out battle between heroes and villains broke out. Deku faced an overwhelmingly powerful Tomura Shigaraki and the two clashed violently, with both the heroes and the villains suffering heavy damages. The battle has since come to a temporary halt with Shigaraki’s retreat, but the time for their next confrontation draws closer with every second. Japan is devastated by the all-out battle when a mysterious man suddenly appears,” the synopsis reads.
