MultiVersus is now widely available, so long as players are willing to sit through 60 minutes of a Twitch stream to be rewarded with a game code. As with any game launch, and particularly for free-to-play online multiplayer games, MultiVersus has its fair share of bugs. So far, MultiVersus players are able to log on and play consistently. But match-to-match there are some gameplay bugs that can ruin a fight. One hilarious-but-frustrating example is tied to Batman's Bat-Grapple ability.
It's only fitting that one of Batman's abilities in MultiVersus is his iconic grappling gun, a tool the Dark Knight has been using for over 30 years. Much like in the comics, Batman uses the Bat-Grapple ability by aiming and firing, with the grappling rope automatically pulling Batman to his target location. If the target is static and unmoving, this process is relatively simple for MultiVersus to handle. If, for example, an enemy is flying through the air and gets hit by the grappling gun, it gets a bit more complicated.

In most cases, regardless of when and how Batman hits a moving target with his Bat-Grapple ability, Batman will be pulled to the point of impact. In rare cases, however, Batman will be launched in an unpredictable direction with incredible force. These bugged-out Bat-Grapples frequently lead to the instant demise of Batman, barring a wall or other obstacle interrupting his death flight.
