Capcom's most famous Street Fighter characters will soon be crossing over into the multiverse of Magic: The Gathering in a new Secret Lair set, and their custom cards have now been unveiled. Wizards of the Coast announced the official crossover last year, along with other upcoming crossover sets including MTG: The Lord of the Rings and Warhammer 40,000.
The Street Fighter series is no stranger to inter-universal crossovers. Even before the idea of crossovers became as pervasively popular as it is today, Capcom had been throwing its famed fighters into the ring against other IPs for decades. Street Fighter's many warriors have gone up against the Marvel universe, the classic anime characters of Tatsunoko, and other big names in the fighting genre like SNK and Tekken. Still, that's only scratching the surface; Capcom has continued to license out its characters for various crossovers all the way up to today, and recent examples have included Street Fighter crossovers in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and Fortnite.

As revealed by IGN, later shared by IGN editor Tom Marks on Twitter, the first look at the Street Fighter Secret Lair set coming to Magic: The Gathering gives fans a taste of what's to come, courtesy of Wizards of the Coast. The set will include eight legendary creature cards based on each of the original World Warriors from the roster of Street Fighter 2. There will also be a ninth card that is currently being kept secret, but Wizards of the Coast says it will be revealed during the upcoming Capcom Pro Tour.
