MSI has officially announced bios support for Intel's 14th Gen Raptor Lake Refresh Desktop CPUs on its 600 & 700-series motherboards.
MSI is joining the ranks of the rest of the manufacturers to release BIOS support for Intel's 14th Gen Raptor Lake-S Refresh Desktop CPUs on its 600 and 700-series motherboards. The existing motherboards can be updated with the new BIOS now which will enable support for Intel's new chips which are expected to launch in the next few months. Following is the full list of boards to receive the BIOS update:
In addition to support for the next-gen Raptor Lake Refresh CPU lineup, the latest BIOS will also offer improved memory OC rule and compatibility which is something we can expect out of the latest Intel chips. In addition to the BIOS updates, MSI will also be launching a few refreshed LGA 1700 socketed motherboards with support for brand new I/O features such as WIFI 7 and 5 GbE LAN. These motherboards will be part of the new MAX series which will make its debut soon.
