Assassin’s Creed fans have had a few releases lately that commanded a lot of time to play through. This might have been a joy for some, but others might find these games becoming too cumbersome. Going forward, we know that the next major release from the team at Ubisoft has decided to go back into the franchise roots, and that means dialing things back. We already knew that this game would be significantly shorter than the later open-world RPG installments of the franchise. But today, we’re finding out about the latest playtimes for Assassin’s Creed Mirage.
We have some new insights thanks to PCGamesN, who translated an interview between Julien Chieze and Ubisoft lead producer Fabian Salomon. The main focus here is that the playtimes lately with internal testing range around twenty hours. For Fabian Salomon, the players rushing through the game will find the campaign will take them about twenty hours at least. But for players who want to find everything possible and complete all the objectives, the game can take around thirty hours to complete.
That’s a significant drop in some of the recent releases that could take players well over a hundred hours to complete the title and upwards of sixty hours to complete just the campaign. This was the case for the latest release of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. So again, when Assassin’s Creed Mirage drops this October, you won’t be spending too much time to get through the campaign. Now it might lead to some players craving for the next installment quite a bit quicker.
