The Motorola Moto G22 is the latest device targeted at the lower end of the budget segment after being priced at Rs. 10,999. In its segment, it competes with popular devices like Realme C35, Samsung Galaxy M12 and Xiaomi Redmi 10. But we believe it will not be a tough job for Motorola Moto G22 to place itself right on top of this list. On the spec sheet, Motorola beats all its competitors significantly. But oftentimes, spec-sheets and user experience are not really aligned. I used the smartphone for a couple of days to understand how its real-world performance compares to its spec-sheet. The Motorola Moto G22 features a 6.5-inch HD LCD display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. In the price segment it falls, 90Hz refresh rate is a rare treat which very few smartphones like Samsung Galaxy M12 and Galaxy F12 offer. The smartphone also comes with a punch hole camera cut out in the front, which no other smartphone in the range offers so far.
Under the hood, the smartphone is equipped with MediaTek Helio G37, which is a fairly powerful processor for this price segment. The smartphone is also equipped with dedicated slots for dual SIM cards along with a MicroSD card slot.
