After announcing the Moto G71 last week, teasers for Motorola's next product is up and this time, it is a tablet. This is the Moto Tab G70 LTE that has already launched in a couple of global markets. Although Motorola is yet to reveal the price and a proper launch date, Flipkart has revealed every other information for the Indian variant of the Tab G70.
The Moto Tab G70 is expected to be a midrange Android tablet when you go through the specs. The Flipkart page only shows a single colour variant of the Tab G70 LTE with a dual-tone colour scheme. The tablet appears to have an iPad Air-inspired design with flat sides and a single rear camera. The front has slim bezels.
The Motorola Tab G70 LTE has been confirmed to feature a 2K 11-inch display, although the global version confirms an LCD panel with 400 nits of max brightness. There will be a set of quad speakers with support Dolby Atmos audio.
In India, the Tab G70 LTE will rely on the MediaTek Helio G90T chip and will ship with a stock Android 11 interface out of the box. The LTE bit suggests this device will support 4G SIM cards. Additionally, Motorola is going to offer all the Google enhancements for Android tablets, including a Kids Space and Google Entertainment Space. Motorola confirms the tablet will have the metal body.
The tablet is also said to rely on a 7700mAh battery and will come with a 20W fast charger, which will do the deed via the USB-C port. The tablet also features a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera.
What remains to be seen is how Motorola ends up pricing the Tab G70 in India. No tablet currently uses the Helio G90T chip in India and offers a 2K display at the same time. We won't be surprised if this ends up challenging the Apple iPad 10.2-inch
