There are a lot of changes from the first game to look forward to in Moss: Book 2, including new interactions with Quill that help strengthen the bond between the Reader and her. The focus on their bond is indicative of the tests that the pair's friendship may endure in the sequel. The story also explores the relationship between Quill and the Reader more than in the first game as the dangers surrounding them grow. Developing a stronger bond with Quill creates a greater emotional investment in the story and the fate of the hero.
Moss: Book 2 picks up right where the first game left off, with Quill reunited with her uncle after defeating the final boss, Sarffog. After making sure her uncle, Argus, is alright, Quill ventures deeper into the castle hoping to eliminate the Arcane threat. However, the fight against the Arcane only began with Sarffog, and the sequel will see Quill taking on enemies even more deadly than the massive snake. As the adventure continues in this sequel, the bond between the Reader and Quill grows, and there are more opportunities for interactions.
