Earlier this week, Bungie released the newly reworked Solstice event for Destiny 2, which now features an event card and Triumph-based progression to acquire an exclusive Seal and title that also tracks progression for the year-round Seal that encompasses all seasonal events. This system came with changes to the core activity of the Destiny 2 Solstice event, which is still set in the EAZ, but this time players are tasked with defeating mini-bosses to acquire Igniters. The Igniters are meant to be thrown at the bonfire in the middle of the map to light it up, andDestiny 2 players can normally do this up to 20 times per run of the Bonfire Bash activity.
The fact that Bonfire Bash normally only allows for up to 20 Igniters being launched into the bonfire also limits the amount of Silver Leaves that Destiny 2 players can convert into Silver Ash. Silver Ash is used to reroll Solstice armor in Destiny 2 to allow players to have customized rolls, which is the main allure of the new Solstice event this year. Launching 20 Igniters into the bonfire means that 20 Silver Leaves are converted into 100 Silver Ash, which is the intended maximum amount per run.

The first glitch makes it so specific melee abilities can be used near the bonfire without throwing the Igniter, but still counting towards the number of Igniters thrown. This works with Ballistic Slam, Consecration, and Howl of the Storm on Titan, or Tempest
