MultiVersus players are currently looking forward to the start of the Super Smash Bros.-like fighting game's first season of content. Already confirmed for Season 1 includes the release of Morty from the popular Rick & Morty Cartoon, with Rick to follow later in the season. It seems MultiVersus developer Player First Games is anxious for the start of Season 1, too. The developer recently kicked off a MultiVersus community challenge to unlock a new Rick & Morty stage — which players completed in just three hours.
On Friday, the official MultiVersus Twitter account issued a challenge to the fighting game's growing community. «Show us what you got,» was the thematic challenge. The more specific task was for players across the world to collectively accrue 10 million ring outs. After completing the challenge, Player First Games would unlock the very first post-launch stage release, Cromulons from the Rick & Morty cartoon. Rick & Morty fans will recognize it from Season 2's Get Schwifty episode when Rick and Morty have to perform a musical number to save Earth from the giant floating heads.

Given that MultiVersus players have no real idea how many active players there are across the world, it wasn't immediately clear how quickly the challenge could be completed. It could have been something Player First Games wanted to take a week, to help lead into MultiVersus Season 1. Or it could be something relatively quick, a challenge capitalizing on MultiVersus activity over the weekend.
