When the topic of realistic video games comes up, Red Dead Redemption 2 is often cited as one of the closest examples of digital realism in the industry. Containing some of gaming's most spectacular graphics, the visuals can be held aloft as an example of how to create ultra-realistic worlds. That said, the turn of the century RPG still contains quite a number of bugs, as a lot of games do. However, there's one glitch that's been noted that can actually have some benefit.
As spotted by The Gamer, YouTuber Brother Foller recently uploaded a video showing some gameplay footage from Red Dead Redemption 2. In the brief clip, Arthur Morgan can be seen standing dangerously close to the edge of a cliff. The player then opens their inventory and gets the protagonist to consume some poisonous plants. Upon consumption, Arthur then lunges off the cliff, but not before he begins to vomit. The animation plays out throughout the duration of the fall, and upon landing, he doesn't appear to have been affected by the impact.

Essentially, it looks as though this is a fairly useful bug for anyone who's playing the game and needs a quick and painless way to drop from a great height. There are some potentially hilarious bugs in Red Dead Redemption 2, particularly when it comes to character models. There are instances in which Arthur's skin texture doesn't load in, which can cause him to look like the stuff of nightmares.
