Pokemon Cafe Remix Bringing Back Mewtwo and Adding More Legendary Pokemon

Pokemon Presents revealed a plethora of updates for current and upcoming Pokemon titles including the free-to-play puzzle game Pokemon Cafe Remix. Mewtwo makes a return to Pokemon Cafe Remix and even more legendary Pokemon join the game alongside the icon.

Pokemon Cafe Remix is the revamped version of the original Pokemon Cafe Mix game with new Pokemon, abilities, puzzles, and outfits. Players mix and link together Pokemon icons to solve puzzles and create enticing dishes. A variety of Pokemon are available with specialty gimmicks and abilities to help solve challenging puzzles. By solving puzzles and building friendships with Pokemon, the cafe and its offerings expand.

New Pokemon Merch May Be Bad News for Eevee Fans

Pokemon Cafe Remix's newest event allows players to obtain the legendary Pokemon Mewtwo by earning legendary coins in a one-minute cooking challenge. Players must solve as many puzzles as possible within the one-minute time limit to earn rewards from each event reward tier. Only four Pokemon are available to use during the cooking challenge, but their specialty gimmicks may be used throughout the entire duration. Mewtwo may be obtained with a total of 5,000 legendary coins gathered from the Mewtwo's Return event.

Alongside the Mewtwo's Return event, a new special campaign featuring Latias and Victini is live until August 11 at 10:59 PM PDT. The special campaign allows players to obtain Latias and Victini through the express delivery feature, which is Pokemon Cafe Remix's version of gacha summoning. Both Pokemon specialize in small dishes and are useful in solving puzzles found in the Mewtwo's Return event. Additionally, the legendary Pokemon Latios will join Pokemon Cafe Remix in the near future.
