Fans should take this with a grain of salt since it is not official information, but it does come from a reliable source. According to HYPEX, Big Battle Mode is returning but will no longer be 50v50. It is being reduced instead to 40v40 and is returning as a default mode with zero build, simply dubbed «Big Battle — Zero Build» in the game menu.
Fortnite's Zero Build Big Battle mode will also feature skill-based matchmaking, no respawns, and a more lethal storm to accompany shorter matches. To speed up the gameplay, players will also begin with a tactical shotgun, a burst assault riffle, and a few healing items.
