Bethesda Finally Fixes Major Skyrim Anniversary Edition Menu Glitch
Bethesda has finally put an end to a pretty severe glitch in the Anniversary Edition of The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim. Despite the RPG's stance as one of the highest-grossing video games of all time, it does have a reputation for being somewhat broken in places. In fact, it's almost become a meme in itself, whereby players will demonstrate some of the more amusing issues they've come across while out and about in Tamriel, and such glitches seem to exist years after the game came out.
Even Skyrim's Anniversary Edition has some game-breaking bugs. Given that this re-release came out just last year, with the studio implementing some additional features, such as Creation Club mods, many would be forgiven for thinking that Bethesda would have tackled some of the major defects that have been plaguing the game for nearly 11 years. Fortunately, it looks as though at least this one specific issue has now been taken care of.

In a post on the Bethesda help page, the developer revealed that a recent update for Skyrim has now fixed a severe problem with the game that prevented some players from accessing the main menu. It also bugged out the mods and Creation Club aspects of the menu as well. Up until this point, the developer offered up advice on how to fix the problem, which included turning off and unplugging the console, in this case the Xbox, and waiting 30 seconds before powering it back up again. Failing that, deleting some older saves and/or going offline was another solution. As can be imagined, this would have been quite the inconvenience for those experiencing these issues.
