In 2020, developer Mediatonic, under then-publisher Devolver Digital, released the platform battle royal game Fall Guys. Like Among Us, Fall Guys is a game that became incredibly popular thanks in part to the COVID-19 pandemic. As the virus spread across the world, people were finding new ways to interact with each other from a distance, which included party video games. Now published under Epic Games, Fall Guys continues to release new content to keep players engaged, which often includes new skins for its jelly bean-like player characters.
Since Fall Guys was released it has crossed over with several other intellectual properties. These crossovers often include but are not limited to new skins for the players and new maps and obstacle courses for them to overcome. Recently, for example, Fall Guys featured a crossover with WWE. More skins for the Sonic the Hedgehog crossover have also been revealed, but now it appears that the game is bringing back an older skin.

Back in early 2021, it was revealed thatFall Guys was crossing over with Doom, and would feature skins based on the game's various characters. Now, at last, the Doom Slayer is returning to rip and tear throughout the battle royal party game. In a recent post, the Pancake — Fall Guys Leaks + Info Twitter account revealed that the Doom Slayer would be returning to the game on August 18. The account is known for posting Fall Guys news and leaks and is often very accurate with its information.
