More Very Rare Special Effect Gear in The War Within
Nerub'ar Palace, the first raid zone coming in Season 1 of The War Within, features five very rare items for players to collect and covet!
Although we previously covered most of the trinkets and special effect gear coming in the expansion, only one of them was actually a rare drop, while the others have since been added to the beta dungeon journal.
Very Rare
Wings of Shattered Sorrow is a defensive themed cloak, and Sureki Zealot's Insignia stands out as an interesting way to help your healers while also awarding the wearer with a little bit of extra power.
They're not all defensive though, Seal of the Poisoned Pact synergizes with nature damage, of which there is a lot featured among weapons and trinkets in Season 1. Void Reaper's Warp Blade also combines with the less rare Void Reaper's Contract to complete a special set bonus, which includes some nice visual combat effects.
Extremely Rare
The sole extremely rare drop in the expansion is a mount dropped by Queen Ansurek! Like Fyrakk's Renewed Proto-Drake: Embodiment of the Blazing, this has a low chance to drop on all difficulties, separate from the guaranteed but Mythic-only Reins of the Ascendant Skyrazor.
The skyrazor was one of the most vicious abominations to emerge from Queen Ansurek's experiments with the Black Blood of the Old Gods.
