Ethan Hawke reveals whether Moon Knight features cameos by Mark Ruffalo’s Bruce Banner/Hulk or Mahershala Ali’s Blade. The Marvel Cinematic Universe’s next live-action Disney+ series to be released as part of Phase 4, Moon Knight, is set to premiere on March 30 and run until May 6. The six-episode series will feature the first live-action portrayal of its titular superhero played by Oscar Isaac. Jeremy Slater leads Moon Knight as showrunner and Egyptian filmmaker Mohamed Diab heads the series’ directorial team, consisting of Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead.
Moon Knight focuses on a vigilante who inherits powers from the Egyptian moon god Khonshu. The series’ trailers have introduced Steven Grant, a mild-mannered gift shop employee unaware of his dissociative identity disorder: a rare psychological condition that has caused him to develop at least one alternate identity in Marc Spector, the mercenary who made a pact with Khonshu. In addition to Isaac, the cast includes Lucy Thackeray, May Calamawy, the late Gaspard Ulliel as Anton Mogart/Midnight Man, and Ethan Hawke as mysterious cult leader Arthur Harrow.
