Activision has released Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone Season 1 Reloaded.
To coincide with the big mid-season update going live, Sledgehammer Games and Raven Software have published lengthy patch notes for the latest game updates, which can be viewed in full here.
On the multiplayer front, there’s a brand new 6v6 map called Rio. The medium-sized battleground features a central shopping mall surrounded by a main street, tram station, market, plaza, café and residential spaces.
Raven has temporarily disabled Warzone’s new Champion’s Quest feature after today’s update launched with a number of issues impacting the performance of the game.

New multiplayer modes include Team Gunfight, Infected and Headquarters.
Multiplayer Ranked Play lets players compete in 4v4 matches using the same settings, maps and modes as the Call of Duty League.
And a crossover with superhero franchise The Boys includes a limited time Kill Confirmed mode featuring power boosts, plus a Supe Siege event challenge which lets players unlock a special LMG weapon blueprint.
Zombies players can unlock high-tier loot by defeating new South Korean-born Warlord Dokkaebi, while Warzone is getting a Gulag Night Vision event that lets players battle in the dark.
Champion’s Quest will also make its debut in Urzikstan, challenging squads to win 30 games within a season or five consecutive matches in order to “instigate a devastating end game”.
