is almost here and excited fans can choose between several different versions of the game for purchase, with some including a lot of in-game goodies while the Captain Edition even has cool collectible physical merchandise for fans to display and wear. The actual game itself remains essentially the same across the variety of editions, although being able to have some of those extra benefits is certainly an incentive to pay the extra cost. Particularly for fans of the Diamond Dynasty mode, the Digital Deluxe and Captain Editions both could look pretty appealing with the multitude of additional digital bonuses they provide.

Baseball video games are more realistic than ever before and delivers that with its enhanced visuals and gameplay mechanics to hopefully make this year the best yet. The game will release for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and the Nintendo Switch on March 28, 2023. All in all, there are actually six editions of the game available including the physical and digital Standard Editions for current-gen consoles and then slightly altered Standard Editions for both digital and physical on last-gen consoles in addition to the pricier Digital Deluxe and Captain Collectors Editions.

The Captain Edition and Digital Deluxe Edition of both are priced at the same $100 price point, but the Digital Deluxe Edition focuses more on the in-game items while the collectible Captain Edition comes with physical items such as a Steelbook and baseball cap. The Captain Edition is available for PlayStation and Xbox consoles only, while the Digital Deluxe Edition can be purchased for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, or the Nintendo Switch versions.
